Pet care experience
I am a 21 year old college graduate. I currently have a temporary job at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA, but the schedule is already set months in advance, so if that job conflicts with the times I could petsit, I would be able to let you know well in advance so any necessary changes can be made. I am comfortable caring for dogs or cats, but I have the most experience with dogs. I was a dog mom for a year & 3 months. I raised my puppy, Nala, a Shih Tzu mix, starting when she was about a month old. I was able to afford her for that time, but since my finances changed, I decided it was best for her to be raised by my brother and his family. She was trained to do things such as sit, go get a toy, use the bathroom outside, & come to get a treat or human food when someone tapped their foot on the floor. I also care for my dog Nala's sister, Butterscotch, whenever I am in Statesboro & her mommy & daddy are not at the apartment. She receives the same love & care as Nala did. I have no problem caring for any dog whether it is a puppy or fully grown. I would, however, feel more comfortable if the dog has not had a violent history with your family. I always walk dogs with a leash. Even if a dog is well trained and will not run away or dart off, I am much more comfortable if I have a leash. If the pet's food just stays out for them to go to whenever they like, I will make sure that the pet is eating some throughout the day. If your pet has particular feeding times, I will adhere to those. If treats are allowed or if they are only given for certain activities or actions the pet does, please let me know so I can continue a similar routine to yours. I only want to make sure that the pet has a consistent reward schedule when they are with me as well so they do not learn to develop different behavior than one that you may have already established.

Is the dog high or low energy? Do they usually show separation anxiety? Do they have any allergies? Are they allowed any human food & if so, what kinds? Are they only given treats for certain behaviors or can they have a treat just because? Does the dog usually sleep on the floor or on a bed? Do you walk them on a schedule? Do they have a feeding schedule or do you usually leave the food out for them to get on their own? Do they chew or scratch at furniture or walls & doors? If you discipline/punish them for doing something bad, what do you do?
A typical day
I lived in a big neighborhood and the neighborhood has a park in it as well, so walks can vary between just walking along the sidewalk or around the park. If you or the dog does not mind car rides, I could take the dog to a much larger park in town. I raised my puppy as an indoor dog, so she was very content just staying in the house most of the time, but if your dog likes to be outside, that is no problem. My yard is not fenced in, so I would have them on a leash all of the time. This would restrict the number of activities we could play outside, but safety is most important as I refuse to risk losing someone's baby. Feel free to bring as many toys as you like for your dog to play with and I will try to incorporate all of them into playtime for however long I am dog sitting.
