Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals since I was very young. We had an Aussie mix I helped raise and train, two silver tabbies that taught me how to interact with cats, and I have been caring for my biologist neighbor’s assortment of reptiles (chameleons, poison dart frogs, toads, snakes), arachnids (tarantulas, scorpions), fish (beta, pufferfish) and mammals (hamsters, cats, dogs) since I was 10. More recently I have spent two years doing dog walking, visiting and sitting through Wag and Rover, and have had daily, weekly and sporadic clients that have keep me engaged with all sorts of breeds from puppies to seniors. I have a little experience working with disabled dogs as well and would feel comfortable caring for any, with thorough instruction. I also have my own 3 year old corgi whom I have trained and raised with my partner since she was 7 weeks old.

She always does a wonderful job!
Delaney was a great kitty sitter she showed up on time to feed them twice a day and I could tell my cats were excited to see her. She spent time with them and it relieved me to have my cats so well taken care of while I was gone.
Great service provided, very timely, very accommodating, very kind! She worked phenomenally with my dog. She was able to coordinate grooming appointments during his dog walk. This dog walker truly goes above and beyond.

While I do have a fenced yard at home with two dogs, my corgi is slow to warm up to other dogs and probably everyone would be happier at their own homes! I have lots of experience with both spending nights and days at a client’s house with their animals and doing multiple daily visits, walks and check-ins while owners are out of town.

I have no breed preference and am more than willing to work with puppies, senior animals and disabled dogs. I expect clients to be forthcoming about behavioral issues and thorough and honest in requesting special treatments and care.
A typical day
I generally just enjoy spending time with the dogs, whether that be a walk through the neighborhood, driving to a dog park or park, or taking them on hikes if the client approves of having me drive their pup around.
