I am 26 year old college graduate and a certified vet assistant. I have worked for vets for the past 9 years and have great connections with vets from Ellis county, Navarro county, Henderson county, and Erath County. I have been pet and house sitting since I was a freshmen in High school. I have pet sat for all sorts of animals from cows, horses, dogs, cats, birds, and even fish. I can administer medications and vitamins as needed and I dont mind cleaning your pets kennels, blankets, etc. I am very open to all of you and your pets needs. I have lived on a farm most of my life and owned a wide variety of pets throughout the years. All that being said, I hope you will trust that I can care and love your babies for you when needed.

I treat everyone else’s pets as I treat my own. I start the day with lots of pets and hugs and then it’s time for food and maybe a treat or two. Then if I have time I will play with them for a bit before I have to leave or take care of the next pet. In the afternoons I basically have the exact same routine. My pets and clients pets have always been very happy.

It is important to inform anyone who is caring for your animals the exact routine that they are used to. From the amount of food they get, amount of water they get, when they typically go out for potty breaks, when they get treats or medications, where their animals are not allowed in the home or outside, etc. This is because it causes less stress to your animals and creates a happier experience for both you and your pets.
A typical day
Typically I like to ask the owners what they are comfortable with and where their animals are the happiest. And according to that I will plan walks and play time accordingly. That way everyone is happy and safe.

Availability
I am actually a full time vet assistant/technician and my hours vary depending on the weather and time of year. However, I always make time for my animals and any clients animals and I plan ahead even just to make extra time for all the animals I am caring for.
