Hi! My name is Deirdre, I am young and currently in college to pursue a career as an RN. I love animals and always have ever since I was a young girl, always making bonds with them at every interaction. Dogs hold a special place in my heart, especially big ones. When I was a little girl, my family had a English Mastiff. Even though he was a big boy he had a heart of gold and fit the description of "being a gentle giant". I loved him very much and would play with him every day, because he was my best friend. I loved him until his time came and I still love him very much. Now, I have 3 senior dogs by the names of Pete, Seamus and Maggie. Seamus and Maggie are siblings, and Pete is his own leader. Pets to me are family, not just an animal. I have 2 cats, and a snake who I love just as much as my senior dogs. Any animal I come across I can leave a lasting imprint, because I bond very well with them.
