Deidre is a "free range" sitter. There are no kennels or cages. All bordered dogs are welcomed into her house and become part of "the pack". They are treated as family, and not as paying guests. Just bring their bed and they will have a space to call their own. She doesn't run a kennel. She operates a home for dogs. Our dog, Ginger, was a "problem dog" from the start. She was found on the mean streets of Fontana, a mere pup, and was obviously traumatized by other ferrels. She became very "boundary conscious" and was very aggressive with any dogs coming too close. I explained this to Deidre and the problems we had with previous boardings. She just laughed it off. She told me that she could correct the behavior and to entrust our Ginger to her care for boarding and obedience training. She was right. I honestly have to compare Deidre to a female version of Cesar Milan. She "speaks dog" and her pack obeys her without question. She is "Alpha". Your bordered dog will become part of her pack as well, and that's a good thing. It will find comfort in belonging, while it may not be the Alpha, Beta a or the Zeta, your dog will belong and find comfort in belonging. I honestly can't recommended Deidre highly enough. My wife and I are finally able to vacation without coming home to our dog with kennel cough or needing to sleep for 3 straight days due to the anxiety of our week away. As our home is on Deidre's way home from her work, she picks up our Ginger on her way home, and I can't begin to express the join that Ginger has in seeing "Auntie Dee" at the front door, as she nows she knows that she is going to spend time with "the boys" in the pack. I encourage you to try Deidre if you are searching for responsible dog sitting, or need something that might be easier on your dog. If you live in the North Orange County area, Deidre might be able to pick your dog up on her way home too. If I wasn't confident of all the things I am saying, I wouldn't be submitting this review. Deidre is awesome. Give her a try.
