Pet care experience
I've been a pet lover since I was a kid. I started with frogs, lizards and snakes, and graduated to cats and dogs. Until I was able to have dogs of my own, I spent over 10 years pet-sitting for friends and family, volunteering in animal shelters, and have even worked in 2 seperate doggy daycares. My MO is always long walks and lots of attention. I have 2 dogs of my own, a cumulative 17 years of pet raising experience. I have experience caring for sick pets and administering medication both orally and subcutaneously. I've had my pups since they were young and would consider them very well trained. If you're looking to work on certain behaviors, I can absolutely work on that during their stay. I have a fenced yard, a safe neighborhood for long walks, and for longer stays, expect your dog to enjoy a nice hike!

Deidre is a lovely person who loves dogs! This was the first time my dog has been to a play date and I haven't been there. Deidre was patient with him and his anxiety. We:re going to make this a regular thing. And her pups are wonderful!
Deidre was a wonderful caretaker! Our dog Gracie had never been to her house and I thought she might be nervous, but Deidre made her right at home. Gracie really enjoyed playing with her well-mannered dogs all afternoon, and I really don't think she missed us at all. I loved her big, fenced backyard, too. I'd love to have her care for Gracie again.
Deidre was amazing with our two whippets, Oliver and Finley! She has a spacious, fully fenced backyard where the boys had a blast running and playing. Her two pups were super friendly and got along great with ours. Deidre was incredibly easy to communicate with—flexible, responsive, and made the whole experience stress-free. We’d absolutely book with her again!

My yard is fully fenced, and I have 2 friendly dogs. Safety is paramount, so dogs would be supervised while in the yard together. If your dog requires a crate, I have both a plastic and soft sided kennel for indoors.

A typical day
I have a decent sized yard to run and play in. I typically do an hour walk around my neighborhood which has 2 different parks amd some woods nearby. If you're comfortable with short car rides, on weekends, I typically do a longer hike, or we'll go to the beach (or the lake in the summer). It's always a fun time.

Availability
I mostly work from home, so your dog(s) would never be alone and would have access to my fully fenced backyard whenever they want. During the week, I can do a long walk during my lunch break, and another after work. Weekends I tend to go hiking, so if your pup enjoys nature, they will for sure have a great time.
