I've grown up in a family of dog lovers -- everything from Golden's and a Boxer-Rottweiler mix to adopted strays -- and I've had two mini Dachshunds of my own for the last 6 years. I've played with them all as puppies, walked them, played endless games of fetch, spoon-fed them meals when they're sick, and crocheted them winter scarves. They deserve it all. I live apart from my dogs right now, so I look forward to giving your dog that same kind of attention and care.
