Furry animals make me happy!
Pet care experience
I have had animals all my life until recently. I am now alone as I had to put my sweet Leo, 17 years old to sleep a few months ago and my beautiful 9-year-old Bella developed kidney disease and passed away in February. I miss them both terribly. I still expect to receive lots of tail wagging and kisses when I come home after being out, whether for ten minutes or hours. I miss their warmth and cuddles at bedtime. I am trustworthy and will take the best care of your animals. My sweet Leo had many health issues, so I am very responsible and comfortable about administering medication if needed. In my lifetime, I have had numerous dogs, cats, reptiles, cows, and birds. I will give your pets lots of love and attention while you are away. I want to point out that I often take care of my daughters' pups while she is working. They are both Goldendoodles and they love and accept all dogs. It is essential that your pup gets along with all dogs as well.

Dee was great with our puppy, Monty. We were nervous to board our puppy for the week given he wasn't fully potty trained and is very energetic. Dee was very accommodating of Monty's structured schedule and even taught him to use her doggy door. She provided us frequent updates and kept Monty active with lots of play time with her faamily/friend's dogs as well. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend boarding with Dee.
Max had a great time at Dee’s for day care! She made sure to communicate that she had another dog staying with her and it was easy to coordinate drop off and pick up. Dee clearly loves dogs and is so experienced with them so I felt at ease leaving my pup with her. Max will definitely be back again!
Tula (almost 14 year old Border Collie) stayed with Dee for the first overnight this past weekend. Dee took care to make Tula's first visit a great one. She booked her time to have just Tula and be able to give her the attention that was best for Tula's first overnight. This is perfect as Tula has been our one and only, loving to have her humans to herself. I feel fortunate to have connected with Dee. Tula now has a wonderful person and place to stay when we are out of town. A bonus for Tula was meeting Dee's grand-dogs that live upstairs--great stimulation and socialization for Tula.

I love all animals. I prefer small/medium (no more than 35lbs) non-shedding pups. It is also a must that your pup gets along well with other pups. This is not a deal-breaker but I would like to know ahead of time what to expect.
A typical day
We will play. We will walk. We will snuggle. We will have fun. I also have a basket full of puppy toys, balls, stuffies, tug-o-war pulls, etc.
