My dogs are my babies. When I rescued Bax in 2004, we walked, jogged and roller bladed all over Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens together. (Yes, I was a blader, and I still have my skates. ;)) Now, he is slowing down a bit (and to be fair, so am I). In 2009, my bff & I moved to Los Angeles, where my little buddy's favorite pastime slowly evolved into just lazing in the California sun. We still go on hikes, but not as long or as often as we used to. I respect his age and limitations. My other pup, Molly, who rescued us in 2015, can run, fetch, hike, swim, and play for days and never get tired. She keeps me active enough to stay in shape and sustain the energy required to care for your pups and is the full embodiment of unconditional love, which we will collectively shower your baby with during their visit. In 2018, my hubby and I moved to Long Beach, right across from Bixby Park. We were fortunate enough to find a home with a private shared patio that's fully enclosed so our fur babies can roam freely outdoors. We are also just two blocks from a little dog park, and just under two miles from Rosie's Dog Beach, so your fur baby will have plenty of options and opportunities to exercise and play outside during their stay-cation. Having my own dogs, and having used Rover as a client as well, I know how important it is to find someone responsible, reliable, and caring for your four legged family members. I promise to provide a stellar experience for both you and your fur baby. An experience tailored to the age and activity level of your dog.
