Pet care experience
Hi!! I have over 20 years of experience volunteering at cat shelters where I worked with kittens to seniors, friendly to not so friendly! Ive also fostered over 25 cats until they found their fur-ever homes. While I have a lot of cat experience, I also grew up with dogs and love caring for them too. I'd love to be their playmate while you’re away! I can take them out for walks, give them tons of playtime and provide them with lots of love and pets. I love training dogs to do tricks too if owner wants! I'll do whatever I can to minimize their anxiety (and yours) while you're gone. I'm responsible, clean and attentive. I treat ALL animals like they are my own. ❤️ I work from home and have a lot of flexibility. I'm also a homebody type. I don’t have kids and recently said goodbye to my 16 yr old cat. I have nothing but time and love for animals. We have a pet free AND kid free home! Plus, I only take one client at a time! Your pet will have my undivided attention! Our yard is fenced. Dogs have a large safe area to play. I work from home so your pet is rarely alone! I have the flexibility/availability to walk dogs before work, during lunch, late afternoons, and evenings. I have a fenced yard to keep dogs safe and I'm able to let them in/out as needed for potty breaks.

Debra is extremely organized, communicative, and caring! She goes above and beyond to make sure she understands your dog and his/her needs. My dog has an absolute blast staying with Debra and we can tell she really trusts her. We trust her too! I cannot recommend her enough!!
For the first time I was not stressed or nervous leaving our dog with a sitter. Debra is communicative, thorough, kind and flexible. Our dog took to her quickly and was happy to be with her. We would happily leave our dog with Debra any time.
Debra is wonderful. She is incredibly caring and conscientious. She asked great questions that reassured me she was investing in taking excellent care of our dog. We've recently moved and have a very large fenced yard. We have a lot of birds and squirrels so I do not take dogs with high prey drives that actively kill. I will never leave your pup outside alone. I'm always with them. I don't have any pets or children and I only take one client at a time. If you're looking for extra individualized attention for your pet, then I might be the right sitter for you! I'm very hands on and it's extremely rare that a pet is left alone. I love animals and the bond I create with them. ***I'm ok taking more than one dog as long as it's from the same owner or dogs that know each other!

A typical day
I can tailor activity appropriate to each dog. Every animal is unique! I want to keep your pet engaged, happy, and stress free. We can play fetch, use tug toys, kongs, go for walks, play chase. If it's a working type of dog, more interactive games tend to be better suited or even work on new tricks....anything to keep your pup busy and feeling useful. I've had success teaching dogs new tricks and have tons of patience for it. Or some dogs just want attention and cuddles which I'm very happy to provide.

Availability
I work from home Mon-Fri so your pet will not be sitting here lonely! I'm able to take them on potty breaks whenever needed, walks at lunchtime etc.
