A trip to Grandma's
Pet care experience
I will treat your pet with the love and affection that my own dog and cat enjoy. We have a secure yard and both have flexible schedules so someone is always with the animals. I will text you photo's and updates so you can see what a great visit your pet is having while you are away. We will take walks, play and have lots of fun so your fur baby doesn't get too homesick. I have regular visitors whose owners have told me their dogs recognize when they are coming to "Grandma's house" and get excited to go East Mesa - Brown and Ellsworth Why I love dog sitting I grew up with dogs of all sorts and have always had an affinity with them. I am always happier when the dogs are around. They add a joy to my day in a way nothing else can. Meet my pets My beloved chi-weenie passed on September of 2018 leaving only our senior chihuahua with us now. He is a Chi and will bark when anyone arrives but settles down quickly after a quick sniff or two. He spends a good deal of his time napping one any of the available pet beds or the sofa. When we have other dogs visiting, we put a big quilts and fluffy throws on the furniture so the canine visitors are welcome to get comfortable there as well if that is what they are used too. For the dogs who are not allowed on the furniture I often just sit with them on the floor for cuddles. Our senior cat is curious and not afraid of the dogs but typically spends most of his day in our bedroom. About my yard We have a secure fenced yard with part grass and part gravel. It has a very comfortable and dog friendly patio where we spend a good deal of time with the dogs. My experience administering medication: Oral Medication is not a problem

Debra took Whiley in on very short notice and took very good care of him. She is attentive and Whiley came back home happy.
We are so happy to be able to leave Einstein with Debra. She sends frequent updates and lots of pictures. Such a relief knowing he is loved and adored while we are away.
Our Cooper has been with Debra for a number of years now. We will never use anyone else! In fact, when we are trying to plan a vacation and have tentative dates, we first run them by Debra, if she cannot watch Cooper, then we look at other dates, no joke! I was in the hospital for 63 days this past winter, Cooper spent that whole time with Debra, as my wife was spending each and every one of those days with me. It was such a relief for her to know that she needn't worry about Cooper at all, she had enough on her plate. Debra, without a doubt, treats your pup with utmost love & care ... just like they are her own. If you're looking for THE PERFECT place and person to love on your baby while you're away, STOP looking, you've just found her! We love Debra and so does our Mini Schnauzer, Cooper!
We won’t leave our Cooper (Mini Schnauzer) with anyone else! Debra is beyond FABULOUS! She truly is an animal lover & that’s quite evident, the moment you meet her! We always receive daily reports & pictures whenever we are away and that’s awesome! Debra will love your babies the way you do, and then some! We always have a very happy "boy," when we get back home, he just loves being there! Thank you for everything, it sure is nice knowing we can go away, not having to worry or wonder how Cooper is doing! You can BET we will be back for MANY more stays for years to come! I have no breed preference but do prefer smaller dogs and only need to know if they are cat friendly. If not I have a "cat room" where my cat will hang out while we have company that doesn't understand them.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Depending the guest's energy level we walk the neighborhood and play in the grassy retention basin or we can walk Spook Hill just across the street which gives them a good workout but is close and dog friendly. Always, Always on leash for everyone's safety Your dog's sleeping arrangement The animals always sleep inside with the family and I do multiple checks during the night. They are free to sleep wherever they are most comfortable and we do cover the furniture with fluffy quilts just for them. I like to walk and play a lot with guests during the day to help ensure they have a good nights sleep. My dog is very dignified and not at all territorial. We do feed separately to make guests more comfortable. Water is filtered and always available of course. Time I'll spend with your dog The dogs are never alone. My husband is semi-retired and I can work at home we have a very flexible schedule and plan so that one of us is always with our guests to make sure they are comfortable and engaged so they don't miss their own families too much
