Pet care experience
You know that little kid who was always the one bringing stray pets home to care for them? Yep, I was that little girl. I spent my childhood caring for our family pets and and any and ALL pets that I could find to love on and find homes for. This did not change into adulthood. I am still that person that is constantly finding the pets that need love and attention. It truly is my passion. I have been a Pet Sitter for over 14 years and have had the honor of taking care of so many wonderful dogs, cats, and various small animals including but not limited to hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, sugar gliders, mice and a snake. I've taken care of a multitude of special needs animals including my own dog who was blind and was the best little buddy I could have ever asked for. For this reason I believe every animal is unique in their own way and I absolutely love getting to know their individual personalities. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified and well versed how to administer medication both orally and via injection and am happy to do so if needed. I am so very excited and honored to spend time with your furry kids and promise to treat them like I would my own.

Debra has had my dog walking more and more which is helpful at my age. I have a dog that is almost 8 years old and requires different medications throughout the day. I had forgotten to provide his treat-like medication that I left on the counter and sent her a message. She provided it to him when she took him for a walk and even left me a note about what time it was so I could remember (I'm 70 so it helps lol). Thank you so much!
I have not used Rover a lot but I requested a picture of her walking my beagle. She sent me a picture and my beagle looked like he was smiling. Thanks for the picture and I felt more comfortable seeing that he was walked. It definitely helped to put my mind at ease.
Debra is an amazing dog walker. She motivated my dog to walk, and my dog looks forward to seeing her. I would definitely recommend her!
Debra provided pet sitting for my cat, my ferrets and my sugar gliders for more than 10 years when I traveled for work or on vacations. I was very sad when she moved far enough away to make that no longer an option. She absolutely loves all kinds of animals and takes excellent care of them. She is very reliable and responsible - I never had to worry that she might forget to come by and make sure everyone was fed and watered. She would give me updates about interactions with my cat. Because the ferrets needed more time out of their cage she would take them home with her to ensure they got the proper attention. She is dedicated and loving and I would trust her with any pet I have. She is very pleasant and upbeat and enjoyable to interact with as well.

I'm a hugger and if your pet loves cuddles they will be extremely happy when with me. I will listen to you and what needs your fur baby has and am happy and honored to take care of them. I have lots of energy and I look forward to helping them get their energy out through exercise, play time, cuddles and mental stimulation.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs, medications, or behavioral tendencies. Knowing if your dog walks well on a leash is important and if you have any areas in your neighborhood that you like them to avoid or if they have a favorite area to go to. :)
A typical day
I believe mental stimulation is as important as physical stimulation for our pets. I love to play games with fur babies and tire them out in all different ways including but not limited to walks. A good opportunity to sniff around places can be as fatiguing as a walk sometimes. Lots of cuddle time is always on the agenda as well. :)

Availability
I'm currently working part time at a local hospital caring for Oncology patients. While I love the reward of helping people during their hardest times, my passion has always been the time I get to spend with any and all animals. I can easily schedule my availability to take care of your fur babies around my hospital shifts.
