Pet care experience
Although I've only had the chance to house/pet sit a few different times, my friends and family have always been very happy with how I cared for their pets and home. The comment about my most recent house sitting job a few weeks ago was "Our house, yard and dog have all been lovingly taken care of. Thank you so much for your hard work." I'm a very conscientious person so it's just natural for me to pay attention to details and give 100% to making sure that you arrive back to your home in the same condition you left it, and that your pets are happy and safe! Since my business can tend to be a bit stressful I'm excited about the chance to get away from my regular routine and be in a different environment. I've always enjoyed traveling and meeting new people (that includes furry friends, too) and so this is a perfect opportunity for me.

I have known Deborah for several years. She is mature, conscientious, and totally trustworthy. She is a great communicator and asks questions when needed for clarification. Recently she watched our dog for three weeks in our home. When we returned, our home, yard and pet's behavior were in exactly the same state as when we left. Deborah was even willing to maintain our dogs normal routine. This was so much better than exposing our dog to an unfamiliar situation. We highly recommend Deborah's services. You won't find anyone more conscientious. Our dachshund's tail is wagging in agreement.

Does the dog have any special health care needs. I grew up with bigger dogs as my family always had Labs and German Shorthaired Pointers, but I love all dogs.
A typical day
If there is a park, trails, or just a safe neighborhood, I love to take dogs for a walk. It's healthy for them to get daily exercise, and get out of the house and their own back yard and socialize with other dogs and people. This depends of course on your level of comfort with this and the dog's desire to go on a walk; however, I've never known a dog who hasn't wanted to go on a walk. Also, I love to play with dogs, wether it's throwing a ball for him/her to fetch or practicing their tricks.
