Pet care experience
I have loved pets as family members since I was a small girl. I am now a retired grandma that will care for your home, yard, and pets as if they were my own. I have experience with lots of breeds of dogs (from Pit Bulls and German Shepherds to Dachshunds and Chihuahuas, and all kinds of cats. I’ve also cared for (fed) goats, pigs, and horses. I am trustworthy, reliable, and genuine. You can call me anytime and set up a meet and greet....I am excited to meet new clients and their fur babies!

I have known Debbie for 31 years and have called her my best friend for the past 25. There has never been a time in all of those years that she has not lived with a dog. We are roommates now (for the past 6 years), and we have 3 in the house. All of her animals have been rescues, and most of them are older, with problems. She loves taking dogs that nobody else will take. Debbie frequently fosters dogs, saving them from going to an animal shelter. Some of those foster home experiences have resulted in her keeping them for extended periods, until a safe, forever home is found. Debbie's heart is as big with the people in her life as it is with animals. She has several long-term friends who love her, and she is well-liked by people who have just met her, too. House-sitting for people with animals, or just going daily to feed, water, and keep them company is the perfect job for her.

I can not care for animals in my own home at this time. My senior rescues need a calm home and schedule. At some point in the future I may be able to provide this service.

I don’t have any breed preferences, although I’m partial to Dachshunds, lol. Of course I’d need to know about any illnesses or meds that need to be administered. Does your dog chase cats? Would need to know that when we go for walks. Feeding and med schedules....are they allowed treats or bites of my dinner? Are they allowed on the bed and furniture?
A typical day
I will go on walks around the neighborhood that my client lives in. I may also take your pets to parks that I feel are safe and there are nice walking trails.

I am retired and available anytime for your home and pets. I am available during holidays as well. My goal is that you feel confident in me and have no worries while you are gone! I can send you pictures or videos so you can see how we are doing!
