Pet care experience
As a lifelong lover and owner of both dogs and cats, I have plenty of experience with caring for pets. My husband and I recently moved to the Birmingham area and don't currently have our own pup but that could be a plus if you have a dog who is not fond of other dogs. My husband and I are retired but keep fit and have big dog, bully experience. We've had 2 pittie type dogs and a German Shepherd who have since crossed the rainbow bridge. I've had many cats throughout the years and would be happy to help with cats. I have experience with dog training as well as dealing with separation anxiety that some dogs experience. I also have a strong interest in natural healing and nutrition so that could come in handy. We have been the go-to for family members to watch their pets while traveling.

Deborah was absolutely fantastic with my girl Winnie! I had never used a boarder or been away from her for long. So,I was very anxious. She kept me updated daily and sent me pictures. I will definitely use her services in the future!
Once again, Deborah is the BEST!!! My big man was healthy and happy. They even made sure one of them was home the entire stay, so he never had to be in his crate! If you need someone to watch your fur baby, Deborah and her husband are the absolute best. So thankful for them!

Deborah and Brian were absolutely fantastic!! This was my first Rover experience and I could not have been happier. My codependent old man Boxer (11) who normally has separation anxiety was loved on so much that he didn't even know I was gone. Deborah will text you on their progress, so when she told me the first night he ate his whole dinner, I knew that he was a-ok! They have a beautiful and very clean home and an excellent yard for potty breaks and play. I cannot recommend them enough. Will definitely book with them again.

We have a large house in Hoover with a sizable yard. Our yard is fenced with a shorter 4' chain link so outside time would always be supervised. We do have plans to put in a taller fence soon. Stay tuned! Also of note is there is a carpeted staircase going from the garage/basement/outside that leads up to the main living area of the house so your dog should be able to climb stairs.

Pick-up and drop-off only available for boarding. You must live within a 20-minute drive of the Riverchase Galleria. For walk, please let me know your preference when it comes to location and the typical distance your dog likes to walk. For overnight stays, you'll want to bring their special food and any toys they can't be parted with. We have dog beds but your dog may have a favorite you can bring. We also have lots of toys and leashes collected over the years. Please let us know your dog's current routine as far as meals and exercise so we can keep them feeling their best.
A typical day
We have a lovely neighborhood to walk dogs in and are very close to Moss Rock State Preserve, if you're up for your dog to take a day trip. We also have plenty of room in the back yard should someone get the zoomies.
