Time to Spend With Your Dog Or Cat
Pet care experience
Hi, Everybody! My name is Debbie, and I've been in love with dogs (and other animals) since I was about 2 years old, sharing my childhood alongside of our Boxer, ShaSha. Over the years, I've had other animal companions, including dogs, cats, parakeets, cockatiels, and tropical fish. As an adult, I have been "mother" to 2 Miniature Dachshunds, and a Cocker Spaniel. My father had a St. Bernard, named Charlie, who I cared for after I came home from school, during my teenage years, as well as sharing my home with. Since I'm presently retired, I have lots of time to spend with your fur babies, and give them the same love and care that I would give to my own. I presently have 3 cats, and share a house with my family and 2 "grand-doggies", Pepper, a Black Lab/Pit Bull mix, and Nina, a Sharpei/Gold Lab mix. I'd love to meet your babies too, including kitties as well as canine friends!
Reviews
Deborah did a great job. She took extra care to make sure Sparkie had long walks. She even had to meet with me a couple of times to pick up keys that took her out of her way.
Deborah has always been what I call a caring parent for dogs and not just for dogs but animals as well, shes loving kind and been taking care of my dogs for the last 5 years.
When it comes to animals, Deborah is beyond compassionate! Dependable as well as experienced, she is my first choice for pet care. I have two dogs, one large and one small, and Deborah has been my go-to caretaker for over 5 years! Friendly, caring, reliable and experienced.

Information Deborah G. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences. I love them all. In regard to walking though, one dog at a time is preferable, please. :) Also, does he/she have any separation anxiety or aggressive tendencies? Does he/she have a favorite toy or type of play? Any food allergies? What treats are preferred? I also would be glad to care for feline buddies, including feeding, watering, playing with them, giving them lots of strokes & TLC, or simply providing them with company, if that's what they prefer. (Of course, removing clumps from their litter boxes would also be included with that care.) Because I rely on public transportation (the CATA bus service), and am limited in regard to bus routes, etc., I prefer to offer dog-walking and drop-in-visit services to the downtown and east side areas of Lansing. This also applies to weekdays and weekends. I apologize for any inconvenience.
A typical day
If parks or hiking trails are available, we would use them for leisurely strolls, or more energetic walks. If those are not available, strolls through a residential neighborhood are another option, as long as it's an area safely away from busy streets and traffic. (That includes, of course, picking up and disposing of waste, as well.) Fun activities may include playing fetch or tug of war with a favorite toy, and lots of strokes and snuggling, depending on the interests and personality of your canine companion.
