Pet care experience
We are a professional couple and home owners from Worcestershire UK who have recently retired early to enjoy the delights of the UK in our motorhome. We are both animal lovers having previously owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. Debbie had also previously jointly owned and run a dairy farm in Australia. We have a shared passion for walking and cycling and, Debbie as a former Personal/Executive Assistant with a nurturing spirit (University of Oxford, Hampshire Fire & Rescue and Gloucestershire County Council) and John a former commercial airline pilot and training manager with a meticulous eye for detail, we make a great team when it comes to house sitting and caring for pets. Our responsible and trustworthy approach and gentle demeanour lends us to being your perfect choice. We are also both former Police Officers with exemplary service.

Deborah is my sister-in-law and I have known her for over 10 years. She used to be in the police force, has since worked for local authorities and is entirely trustworthy. She is very reliable, sensible and more than capable of organising and managing any problems. As a person Deborah is cheerful, positive and has a can-do attitude to life. Deborah and her husband John have pet sat for us several times last year to look after our two dogs for us while we were away. One dog is a nervous rescue who wholeheartedly loves Deborah and enjoys his walks. The other (sadly no longer with us) was an elderly dog with severe arthritis, on lots of meds, and Deborah was extremely kind and gentle with him. Deborah and John are also both very tidy people and kept the house in good order. I would thoroughly recommend Deborah as a pet sitter with Rover.
I have known Debbie for about 30 years. She has a lovely sense of humour and a big heart. She has looked after our beloved cocker spaniel and our house many times. I’m happy to go away leaving our dog and house in such capable, caring hands. Debbie is one of life’s outstanding copers. I know if there was any household emergency (ie. burst water pipe) she would deal with it calmly and efficiently. She’s very happy to take the dog out in the rain and wash and towel him dry afterwards. I have complete trust in her, ensuring time spent away from home is stress free. To sum up, Debbie’s attributes are kindness Warm hearted, trustworthy, reliable, dog friendly and very considerate.
Debbie is one of the most reliable and amiable person I know. She is super fun to be around and so kind to our old boy, Benji. He’s got some age related difficulties and Debbie is just brilliant with him. I would have no problem recommending Debbie to pet sit for anyone.

Having chosen not to travel with pets, we feel this is a unique way to experience the beauty of the UK, whilst enabling us to continue to provide love and care for animals. We understand how difficult it can be to go away leaving beloved pets behind and we are committed to ensuring that normal routines are maintained with no distress and seamless transitions.

A typical day
We will continue with the same routine that your pet is used to with walks, play, cuddles and lots of love, attention and cuddles (if that is what they enjoy) … our aim is for your pet to have minimal disruption and hardly notice you are absent … with the assurance though they are still missing you!!!

Our motorhome serves as both a means of transportation and cosy home away from home, providing the flexibility to experience different cultures and landscapes. We have no ongoing commitments and can devote all our time in ensuring your pets and home are being well cared for and looked after in your absence with a seamless transition.
