Pet Care in Wayland!

Pet care experience

My name is Deborah and my husband is Dick. We love animals. I grew up in a cat-loving family and I've owned and cared for dogs as well, since I was a young adult. We also love birds and other critters that cross our path out where we live in the country. I'm the person who stops to help the turtles across the road!

Fantastic place to bring your fur babies! They took excellent care of my English Bulldog and sent me many hilarious videos of her too. I don’t think my dog wanted to leave them, she was having so much fun.

THE BEST Rover experience I have had in any state that I have used the app (and I have used it across states). Deborah and her family are awesome and sweet people. They cared for Thor like their own and I am definitely coming back 💯 Know that your pet will be well cared for 🥰

Safety, trust & environment

Dogs prefer to be with people, and your dog will be allowed everywhere in our house, except for the office (where the cat food and litterboxes are located). We have a large backyard and pastures for walks (great smells!). As an added benefit to you, we will put a pet tracker on your pet's collar. This allows you to see the location of your pet in real time and view the history of their travels. Our goal is to provide your pet with the care and attention they need. We have two teenage sons who help us as well. Our children love animals, and we are ready to care for your dog while you are away! We are happy to communicate with messages and pictures of your pet's daily activities. We can provide a leashed walk up to 2x a day and we have comfy dog beds to nap on. We also have crates if that is needed.

Information Deborah & Dick W. would like to know about your pet

It is important to us that your dog is not aggressive in nature. Ideally, we'd like a meet and greet before a stay to make sure your dog and ours will get along. Also, your dog must not be aggressive toward cats.

A typical day

Dogs that stay with us will be treated like family. Indoors and outdoors, they will be near us. Additionally, we live on ten acres, with trails on eight acres. Lots of space for great walks.
