I currently have full time availability! I tend to wake up early, so if you want me to pick up your dog (or for you to drop them off with me) early morning then that's no problem!

I have a good sized, fenced garden that manages to keep Mabel (who is very active!) in. Dogs are supervised at all times when outside. I have a crate that can be used for anxious dogs who need their own space, or for those who are trained, if I need to leave the house while they're staying over (I will confirm this with you beforehand to ensure I'm meeting your pet's care level). Car-friendly dogs are welcome to come on any short excursions. Oliver (cat) lived with dogs before he came to live with me, so if your dog is good with cats then they could get along great! I do have a room fully set up for Oliver if he needs his own space and security, which I use while we're getting to know and trust new dogs, so your dog won't be confined to one room. Your dog's health, happiness and safety is important to me! The house is dog-proof for those who like to stick their nose where it shouldn't be! I want your pet to return to you tired, happy, feeling loved and looking forward to coming back to stay again!

Please let me know how active your dog is so that I can plan their exercise and play time! I'll also need to know feeding times and how often toilet breaks are required, to keep your pet's routine. I'll need to be made aware of any allergies your dog has, and appreciate you providing their treats if they have food allergies. If your dog requires medication, please discuss with me when booking. Please let me know whether your dog is crate trained, and how long they are ok to be left alone (for example if I am walking other dogs).

As well as giving your dog as much (or as little) affection as they desire, I will ensure they are exercised with walking and play in the garden. I have toys and puzzles for mental stimulation, and can work on some basic training with them if you would like me to.

I've lived with dogs on and off for my whole life, and when I haven't lived with one I've always found a friend with a dog to "borrow" so that they can get out for a good hike, or just a sniffing walk if they aren't a trekker. I currently live with Mabel (dog) who is a rescue, so I have a good idea of some of the the emotional and/or behavioural struggles that some of our animal companions need help with. Thankfully Mabel settled in well and now lives happily with her (little) big brother, Oliver the cat. I raised two kittens from 2 days old at the and I also used to volunteer as a Cat Cuddler at the SPCA, so I have experience working with various ages, sociability levels, shapes and sizes of animals.

Craig L. Deb is absolutely fantastic with Lacey! Lacey is always excited when Deb comes to take her on adventures, and always comes home happy and tuckered out. Lacey especially likes it when her adventures are with Deb's dog Mabel as socializing at home with the cat just doesn't have the same effect. I have had Deb stay to watch Lacey over the weekend and came home to a house cleaner than I had left it and a doggo sad to see her friend go. Would 100% recommend Deb to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy, reliable, super friendly dog walker/sitter. 😀
