About Debby (with a Y): Hi! I'm Debby, and if you're like me, your pets have become family members. When you can't be home for them, whether it's because of work, vacation, or other obligations, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention you give them. That's exactly what I'm here for. Specialize in Vacation & Second Home Pet Sitting in Watercolor, Seaside, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. I want to follow your pets regular routine, such as eating schedules, potty breaks, grooming necessities, and daily exercise requirements to make them as comfortable as possible and happily provide the love, attention, and exercise your pets deserve when you're not around. I live an active lifestyle – walking and really enjoy being outdoors. I provide dog walking - for those that prefer the slower pace. This service is meant for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. My main goals are to make sure your pets are HAPPY, TAKEN CARE OF, and EXERCISED while you are away. My schedule is flexible (my kids are grown and on their own) and open so I am able to give your companion(s) all the love, attention, care, and potty breaks they need. Normally I come to your Vacation or Second Home in Watercolor, Seaside, Rosemary Beach & Alys Beach. Occasionally I do have pets in my home. My yard is fenced on the sides and to the front and the back is open to a small private lake. Depending on your dog and your wishes, I can walk your dog several times a day in my neighborhood which is quiet and no traffic except those who live at the end of my street. As our kids were growing up, we always had a dog, and at times two. (Golden Retrievers) I miss not having a dog at home. We had many great memories with our dogs - Skipper, Shane and Chase and truly miss them. Overall, It makes me happy to care for and spend time with animals. I would love the chance to get to know you and your pets and treat them as if they were my own! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a dog named Dutchess and a cat named Panther. When I got married, my husband had a dog named Shannon, an Irish Setter and her puppy Alice, who was a hand full! My experience administering medication I can give oral medications - no problem. What Debby needs to know about your dog: I would like to know: Daily Routine: eating schedule, potty breaks, exercise requirements, etc. Commands: vocal cues and/or hand signals Activities: What do your dogs love to do? Traits that are specific to your dog: (ex. growls when others gets close to food, shreds toys, is an escape artist, bites when your pet their ears, etc - any information is helpful). If your dog is very shy, fear reactive, or dog reactive I would love to meet them beforehand so they can get used to me, if at all possible.
