Pet care experience
We have always had a dog in our home. My daughter and I did dog sitting for a few years previously and absolutely loved it. I am now ready to provide a service in my new home of Cardiff with support from my Husband Mike. We have a Cavapooshon called Daisy who is very friendly. I also look after Dolly the chihuahua and Ruby the pug for my Daughter and Partner when they go away. They are my Grandogs! I have owned an elderly rescue dog in the past who had a number of health conditions, as well as a mix of breeds through the years. I am qualified in Dog First Aid.

Wonderful family who made us and Mabel feel very at ease. Lovely pup dates throughout our week away and Mabel had a lovely time. I’d highly recommend Debbie and Mike to anyone who had any anxieties about leaving their beloved pup whilst they are away. Mabel had the home away from home experience and loved every second. We are so glad we found them both & we know Mabel will look forward to staying with them again :)
My dog Charlie had the best time with Debbie and the family. He went for lots of lovely walks and had plenty of love and attention. We met Debbie before the stay which completely put my mind at ease, knowing that Charlie would be in good hands. I was regularly updated with photos and updates. Extremely grateful and would highly recommend. I will be booking again in future and I’m sure Charlie is looking forward to it already xx
I have been a close personal friend as well as initially a work colleague for 15 years, in that time I have known Deb to be very much an animal lover, she has had cats, dogs, birds of her own as well as supporting her daughter with her own dog sitting business, Deb has also looked after my dogs over the years. Deb has always shown kindness, compassion and an overall wonderful attitude to all animals. Debbie cared for our sausage dog, Pickle over the Christmas period. It was very last minute and both her and her husband were absolutely amazing! Pickle normally gets very anxious going to new places, but we were sent pictures updating us on how he was getting on. He was so relaxed and happy, and he even got a Christmas doggy bag to go home with. I can’t express enough how incredible and kind both Debbie and her husband are, there is no lengths they wouldn’t go to, to ensure both parents and pups are more than happy. I can’t imagine Pickle being looked after by anyone else now, the level of thought Debbie puts into care and making dogs time with her special is impeccable.

I would always do a meet and greet with you and your dog, multiple if required before I do the house visits or they come and stay. I would need to know in advance about any special dietary requirements and needs so I have a form to complete for each dog. I accept small and medium dogs only.
A typical day
Your dog will be loved, fussed and have their needs met during my care. Every dog will be treated as an individual and given the care, attention and enriching activities they need.

I am retired and regularly do a drop in for our neighbours dog. I am limited to one dog per stay or visit but additional dogs from same household can be considered upon request.
