Pet care experience
Dogs feel emotions; empathy and calmness are required as much as playing, eating and sleeping. Happy folks, happy puppies, dogs and cats. My heart rules as much as my mind. I’ve taken care of puppies and multiple dogs. Have always had dogs and cats, my husband and I rescued 2 dogs (kept them until they crossed the rainbow bridge) and took care of neighborhood stray cats (and their kittens) and always found good homes for them.

We are the people who take their dog everywhere. But on this occasion, it was just not possible. But, I met Debbie and felt very comfortable having her stay with our baby. She arrived right on time, just before we left, and stayed with him the entire 4 days we were gone. She took him on walks, sent videos, photos and text updates, and he didn't miss us at all!
Debbie did a great job sitting for my 2 dogs & 2 cats. She was very responsive & available any time I checked in while I was away, & provided updates/photos/videos. It was apparent that she was very loving toward all my pets & I greatly appreciated her attentiveness. :)
Debbie did a great job when she looked after our little dog! Her priority was the care of our pet. Our dog was on medication and needed special care. Debbie made sure she understood exactly what we needed her to do before we left. She stayed in our home and when we came back it was just as we had left it. She was considerate of our home and our concerns about our dog. I highly recommend her! And yes we would use her again.
I've known Debbie for over 40 years and she has always been a responsible, kind and loving person. She loves animals and I know that she will take excellent care of your fur babies. I have trusted her with my own dog, Xena, who is our spoiled Pom, and recommend her without reservation to be your trusted pet sitter.

I don’t typically use my apartment for dog sitting, but can if necessary. I can walk them in Wilson Park, only few blocks away where I walk anyway.

No breed preferences. First, do they have any fears or triggers? If you have a rescue animal especially. Is there a place on them where they don’t want to be petted? I want to know what to expect with their moods; anything that will help me help your animal feel comfortable. I would like to know if your animal is a Special Needs baby or anything different that is vital to their care.
A typical day
Wilson Park is two blocks away. We can play ball, fetch sticks or roll in the leaves if they want to! Not squeamish with animals

Availability
Retired, stable mom with two sons in their 30’s. Availability is usually always. Lots of free time, usually have a completely clear schedule or can rearrange. Helped my oldest through the first 6 weeks of his puppy and sat with her when needed. Youngest son and his wife have six dogs & a cat which I sit for (they rescue) and for whatever reason animals are attracted to me.
