I love all animals and will care for your trusted companion as my own. They will receive personalized care, lot's of attention, exercise, and play. Many owners have told me their dogs go home and sleep for hours after vacationing with us. I have always had dogs in my life including a St. Bernard, Shepard, Bulldog and lots of mixed breeds with various levels of energy. My bulldog was high maintenance and therefore I have experience with cones, meds & grumpy old dogs. I have a small friendly dog, "Puppy", that plays house. He helps calm your pet and plays with our guests. The house is spacious and dog-friendly (no carpets- lots of room to explore.) The yard is fenced, 8 feet tall, with gates locked from the inside. We have a roomy deck for your pet to catch some sun. We have created a secure, warm environment for our guests. I feed the dogs individually. Each one gets their turn in the garage. I have a seat in there to watch, coax and reassure them that it is just the two of us and no other dogs are walking in. If your pet needs extra coaxing to eat in his/her new temporary environment, I will hand feed him/her. If he/she needs a belly rub and massage to calm down and go to sleep at night, not a problem. I follow your directions and respect your wishes. I will send you lots of messages & pictures to reassure you that your pet is well cared for and you can enjoy your time away. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you in advance, have you and your pet visit us, to ensure you feel comfortable with having us care for your pet in a stress-free environment.
