I have always loved animals! I even thought about becoming a vet at one time. Growing up, we had many different animals including dogs, cats, hamsters and guinea pigs. Over the years, I've taken care of not only my own personal dog, but friends and family member's dogs (and cats)... mostly large dog breds, by pet sitting and dog walking. When my mother passed, I adopted her Golden Doodle, and took care of her until she passed in 2019. We went on walks and since her fur grew all the time, I learned to groom her a bit. I definitely miss her companionship and love! I also love cats. While living in an apartment, I fed some of the stray cats. I would sit outside and several of them would come lay close by. I was honored that they felt comfortable enough with me to do that!
