We have a house on 3/4 acre with a 6' stockade fence. We have 3 dogs of our own which are rescues. They always have the option of coming into the house and are not left outside long unless they want to be outside. About this sitter: My husband and I have 2 kids. An adult son who is going to school out of state and a grown daughter who lives at home. We also are a volunteer foster home for the OKC animal shelter. Why I love dog sitting I can't remember a time when I didn't own at least one dog. I love all animals, but especially love dogs. My dream would be to leave my full time office job and work with animals all day, but unfortunately, cannot afford to do that at this time. I know how hard it is to find trusted individuals to care for your animals when you are out of town. I have that same problem! I want to be that trusted person for you so you can enjoy yourself when you leave home and don't have to worry about your fur babies! About my yard We have a huge backyard. We live on 3/4 acre. It is fenced in with a 6' stockade fence. We have a Yorkie so we are always inspecting it making sure there are no small holes that she can escape from! My experience administering medication Two of our dogs are elderly and take oral medication daily. They think of it as treats, not medicine. I can also give some shots. We used to have a diabetic cat that we had to give insulin shots to daily.
