Pet care experience
I've owned dogs all of my adult life. We recently lost our golden to cancer which left a hole in our family I also own a shephard lab mix who feels lost without her brother and would love making new friends. Your pet would be in loving hands and will be treated as one of our own. We have alot of love to give so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is having a fun petcation. You won't need to worry!! I am home all day and am able to provide loving care and attention to your pet. I have taken care of friend's dogs for more than 20 years. I have a 7 yr old lab mix who is very dog friendly and would love to have a companion on our daily walks. I have a fenced in yard for playtime and walking trails behind our home. Your dog would be welcomed and loved as one of our own. I have a fenced in yard for plenty of play time but we also like to walk daily. We also visit the creek behind our home on really warm summer days for a quick swim to cool off! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any specific questions or concerns

Sophie had the most amazing weekend with Deb, Tom, Freya & Ellie! I received updates and pictures multiple times a day to reassure me that Sophie was doing well at her first overnight away from Mom and it was wonderful. Sophie and I couldn't have wished for a better experience. We have already booked another extended stay for fall!
Another wonderful stay for our pups with Debbie. She and her husband are wonderful with the dogs. She will be our first contact when we need someone to watch the dogs. Highly recommended!!
I am so thankful that we found Debbie to watch our dogs. She was wonderful and really went out of her way to take care of our dogs and make sure they were comfortable during our short trip out of town. She didn't just watch the dogs, but interactws with them, creating activities to keep them mentally and physically engaged. She will be our go to person for watching our dogs in the future and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else looking for pet care. You can really tell that she is a caring pet parent and that extends to any dog staying with her. It was a nice bonus to get daily updates and pictures of how things were going. Please let me know if your dog needs any special care, diet and if they are unable to walk for long distances. Please specify any routines that your dog is used to so that we can follow the same while they stay with us. We want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible. If your pet requires to be crated at night, please ensure you bring their crate with you for their stay. I also require a copy of your pets vaccination records.
A typical day
We like to walk through our neighborhood and visit hiking paths close to home. If your dog is a swimmer we also visit parks with creeks or ponds for the pups to cool off. My backyard is fenced and we spend a lot of our day out back playing fetch. Your pet will receive a lot of cuddles and pets!! On rainy days or during the winter we also have indoor activities for your pet to participate in. We have the pups paint on canvas, make pawprint keepsakes, we have scavenger hunts and interactive toys to keep your pet stimulated.

Availability
Please note: Daycare availability is between 9am - 4pm (Tues - Fri) If there is a day that you have an appointment and need earlier that can be arranged if i'm available otherwise I start my day at 9am. If I am boarding a dog I do not have daycare during that time. If you are in my neighborhood I can do drop in visits to ensure your pet goes out during the day and gets some play time or a walk.
