Pet care experience
My husband and I have two huskies and a cat together (as well as a one year old little boy). We live in a decently sized split level home with a fenced in backyard. We let our dogs roam freely outside in our yard and they absolutely love it! There's plenty of deck space to sunbathe, as well as lots of shaded area in the yard to lounge. We live in a family neighborhood with plenty of road to walk around. Our main priority now is our son, and any dogs we have in our home MUST have experience with small children. Our son is great with our dogs, but as toddlers are, he's very playful and can overwhelm dogs who aren't used to playing with small children.

Deb and Scott were great! They took wonderful care of Penny and she clearly enjoyed her stay. All the dogs got along well. Deb and Scott were very flexible and sent pictures everyday.
Deb watched my dog Izzy over the weekend (2 nights). We don't know a lot of people in the area and I feel bad boarding her somewhere in big room of cages with a bunch of other confused dogs and no human supervision at night (i.e. daycare/boarding places). The main selling points for me were that Deb and her husband have 3 other dogs- so I knew Izzy wouldn't get bored, they have a big fenced-in yard, and someone is home most of the day. She sent me pictures and updates every day, which was greatly appreciated. We'll definitely have them watch her again!

Any dogs we watch we prefer to be spayed/neutered. We require meet and greets with all dogs prior to their stay with us. We have two dogs of our own and meeting new dogs with their owners before their stay with us has made the transition at drop-off much more smooth in our experience. This is also required to ensure the safety of our son with any new dogs.
A typical day
We play inside and outside with pups, or lounge on the couch, snuggled up for a movie! We regularly take walks around the neighborhood that is full of lots of families with pups as well.
