Good with timids! Fenced yard

Pet care experience

March 2019 Update! We had our first baby in January so we took a hiatus from dog sitting. We're back and currently accepting boarding requests from past clients we already know. If babies make your dog stressed, we may no longer be a good option for you :( our dogs have adjusted well so we hope to see you again! Your dog will be treated like one of my own! We have two dogs who love to play and nap with other dogs. We've fostered many dogs, all different ages, breeds and personalities, so we can handle pretty much anything! With foster dogs, we never know if we need to do some basic obedience training, crate-training, or house training, so we're skilled in all of these things. As long as your dog gets along with other dogs and is not inclined to chase our cat, they are welcome! We are especially comfortable with dogs who are shy or need a little space, as both of our dogs started out that way. During work days, we will be gone for not more than 4 hours at a time, depending on the age of the dog. Dogs under 5 months will require more frequent potty breaks and we will adjust our work schedule and location around your pup's needs. At night, your dog can sleep in our bedroom with us and the dogs. If you dog loves to sleep in a crate, we have plenty of those! We'll provide toys, dog beds, and treats. You provide enough food to cover all of your pup's meals while you're away. If you dog has any food allergies, you can also provide special treats that only your dog will get and we will take precautions to ensure no accidental ingestion of an allergen! Any special harness your dog walks with will be great to have as well! We want to make his transition into our home as smooth as possible. We take care in our home to prevent pups from chewing on or eating something they shouldn't and we always supervise playtime. My rate for puppies is a little higher because it includes more time towards house-training, accident cleanups, and more supervision. Your pup may also learn a trick or two :)

Frankly, I couldn't be happier. Shady had the BEST time with Deanna! He stayed for 12 days and settled in quickly and easily. He was treated like a member of the family. Deanna sent photos and updates and let us know how Shady was doing. We will definitely have Shady stay with Deanna again.

She was great with our dog and sent numerous pictures and videos throughout the week. We couldn't have asked for a better person to watch our dog.

Callie had a great stay at Deanna's. Deanna kept me updated throughout the weekend with info. and pictures. Callie had a blast playing with the the other dogs & cat! She came home very tired and happy! I would definitely recommend Deanna!

Information Deanna S. would like to know about your pet

Your dog would ideally be crate-trained and your dog must be good with dogs and cats. If your dog has never been around a cat and has a high prey-drive, unfortunately we won't be able to watch your dog. I would like to know if your dog is house-trained or sometimes has accidents. Your dog must be up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella, and must be on flea & tick preventatives.
