Hi! My name is Deanna and I am 31 years old. I've been a digital nomad for a few years and recently decided to settle in Massachusetts. I have been caring for furry family members for friends and family since I was a teen. I also grew up with dogs and cats in my household. I have completed more than 25 sits in more than a dozen countries. I'm grateful to say I have met truly wonderful people and animals through pet sitting. I'm an easygoing person who loves traveling, reading, writing, cooking, and any type of creative activity. My "day job" is graphic design, which I do remotely. I'll soon be starting grad school to pursue my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have experience with pets with special needs including special dietary needs, giving insulin injections, daily grooming, a dog and a cat with a missing limb (these animals are typically just as active as any other!) and pets who were both blind and deaf. I have also cared for high anxiety animals and have a knack for helping them feel at ease through maintaining calmness, giving lots of love, and consistency.

Deanna watched our dog and 2 cats for a week. Our dog had a lot going on with a recent tail surgery, wearing a cone, needing meds. She sent lots of updates and asked questions when they came up. The house was clean when we came back, garbage taken out etc. would definitely use her again!
Deanna was wonderful with my senior cockapoo. I came home to a happy dog and my home just like I left it! I recommend Deanna:)
Deanna took great care of our puppy, Walnut! She sent adorable updates so we knew our girl was safe and happy. Would definitely have Deanna look after Wally again!
Deanna did a wonderful job looking after Slinky and our house. She was professional, respectful, and made sure Slinky was comfortable and doing well. Excellent experience!

A typical day
This depends on each animal's personal preferences and normal routines. I try to follow their routines as closely as possible. I enjoy taking pets for walks in lovely natural places that we can both enjoy, playing fetch for those who love fetch, or for older dogs who may have trouble on long walks, keeping their walks short and opting for lots of cuddle time instead.

I am a self employed graphic designer, so my hours and schedule are flexible. This allows me to spend more time doing things that I genuinely enjoy, and caring for animals brings me a lot of joy.
