Pet care experience
I've worked in the veterinary field for 9 years. I am able to take care of puppies, seniors, dogs of all sizes and dogs with special needs. This goes for cats as well. I am able to feed and give medications if necessary. I have experience with reptiles and fish as well.

I have two dogs at home, a thirteen year old male and a seven month old female. My dogs work on a 12-hour feed schedule and generally go out for walks every 4 hours. They are both well-groomed and well-socialized. I also work in the veterinary field and know how to give oral, topical, and injectible medications, as well as basic bathing and grooming procedures.

I have extensive experience working with independent and high-energy dogs. I don't mind working with large-breed dogs as long as they are well-mannered. If a dog has any known triggers or is special needs, I would like to know when scheduling. Inquire about bathing and grooming services before a trip so that I can come prepared with everything that I need.
A typical day
If I'm watching dogs at home then walking and playing is necessary. I like puzzle toys and snuffle mats to engage the mind and tug and chew toys to keep them busy. Soft toys are a snuggle favorite too along with blankets. If the dog is sociable and up to date on vaccines we can go out to the park with the owner's consent.

Availability
I am working part-time but I am pretty flexible with day time hours on weekdays and weekends. I am currently not available for over night trips or for work past 7pm.
