Full time pet care for non-shedding dogs! Hi, I’m Deanna and I am excited to have the chance to take care of your dog! *Please note*: Due to allergies, I only accept request from non-shedding or low-shedding friends. (If your pup needs regular haircuts they’re ok!) CONSISTENT: Dog sitting is my full time job! No work outside the home, no work from home, just this! That means I am there to provide consistent, round the clock care and companionship to your dog. This means plenty of potty breaks, play sessions, and lots and lots of snuggles for your fluffy friends. EXPERIENCED: I have over 30 years experience in caring for dogs. I have boarded dogs for as long as a month, or short as a daycare. I love animals of all kinds, but have always had a special connection with dogs. I have had six dogs over my lifetime and created a special bond with each of them. My current dog is a 5 year old standard poodle, who is full of life, energy, and loves helping me keep our canine guests busy. KNOWLEDGEABLE: I have taught myself over the years about dog training, psychology, development, as well as dog first aid. I am experienced in caring for older dogs, administering medications, and dealing with various different health needs safely and efficiently. UNIQUE: My home stands out as extra special for furry friends. I have a 1/2 acre yard with a 6 foot high fence, with lots of room for dogs to run and play, including a puppy obstacle course that can be set up for extra fun. Inside I have hard wood floors and a big comfy couch that the dogs can lounge on comfortably, along with boxes of toys and puzzles and games to challenge their brains while they are with me. I look forward to taking care of your beloved family members, and treating them as one of my own for as long as they are in my care!

Deanna was an amazing host for Theo's boarding stay. She took the time and care to understand his needs. From the getgo we could tell that Deanna is passionate and deeply knowledgeable about dog behavior and care. Despite Theo's anxiety, she was patient and he was very comfortable in her care. I loved being able to read about Theo's experience, supplemented with lots of pictures and videos! Theo came home well rested so we know he had plenty of play and rest during his time at her home. She even took the time to bathe Theo when he got himself dirty during the stay, so he could come home clean and sweet smelling ready for cuddles! We certainly recommend her services and plan to schedule w her for future purposes. Deanna is the best of Rover and exemplary of why Rover is amazing!
Great communication and cared well for our dog Nala.
I felt so at ease having Deanna watch my dog. She was so attentive to my dog’s every need and even made sure that my dog’s ears were properly cleaned and medicated with drops every day for a lingering ear yeast infection. I’m confident my dog loved running around Deanna’s big yard with the other dogs. Pretty sure my dog would have loved to have stayed even longer.
My dogs were happy and tired from their visit. Deanna was great!

I have a half acre yard with a six foot fence around the backyard providing a large, secure play area. My whole house is set up with kennels and dog beds. I only kennel dogs if they prefer being kenneled or if they aren’t safe being left to roam at night.

A typical day
My ridiculously smart and energetic standard poodle puppy forced me to upgrade my knowledge of dog training, behaviors and methods of stimulating their brains and bodies. She’s 5 years old now, but still the busiest dog I have ever known. This has proved to be an asset when it comes to providing a fun and stimulating experience for our canine guests. We spend hours outside playing every day, weather permitting. On extremely hot, cold or rainy days, I have a large collection of puzzles, toys and games to play to keep them busy and happy inside.

My full time job is looking after dogs. I rarely ever leave my home and yard except to walk my canine guests. I have a 5 year old Standard Poodle who has grown up having a constant flow of new friends.
