Pet care experience
I have cared for friends pets ( cats and dogs ) for over 8 years. Staying with them in their home keeping them on their schedule for food, walks and meditations.

Highly recommend! Deanna was so good to all our fur babies while we were away. She provided house sitting services to our three dogs and two cats. Provided daily updates with pictures/videos to us, and always quick to respond whenever we had questions. We have a husky who has extreme anxiety during thunderstorms/fireworks and Deanna did amazing calming her down. Grateful to have found someone we can trust with our pups/cats and our home.

Our girls (Italian Greyhounds) loved Deanna. She made the effort to come meet us, and the dogs before we accepted her as our sitter. Luckily Deanna lives in the area, so was able to travel to her work during the day and return to spend the evenings with the girls. She sent updates during our vacation, which we appreciated. Our clean house was left clean and tidy when we returned. Deanna, stayed with the girls until we arrived home, was able to give us an in person update of her week, then left with our thanks. There were no issues to report. When she left our house at 11:30p.m. our skittish girl gave her kisses, which she normally doesn't do. All of the girls bonded with Deanna. I definitely would ask her to look after our girls again.
Deanna was amazing. She took great care of our two dogs! Sent us many pictures. We will be using her services again in the future!

I would always keep the pet on leash unless at a specific location where leashes are not required but would discuss this option with the pets parents before doing so. If caring for a dog at their home and it has a fenced back yard of course allow the dog out but would keep an eye on them. To me pets are an extension of a family so I would treat them as such. If caring for a cat I would allow the cat to come to me first. Allow it to do its own thing until they are use to a new person in their domain. This goes for dogs as well I would not crowed or force an encounter if the dog or cat are skittish. I would play with them and cuddle them if allowed :).

Availability
I currently work full time in town, I am able to drop in early mornings and after 4:30 pm. I do have a part time job on the weekends but it is very flexible and I can drop in throughout the day or arrange to be available all day. If house sitting I would be at the house as much as possible.
