Treat, Play, Love! ♡

Pet care experience

*** NEW/FIRST-TIME CLIENTS: For safety reasons, and to make certain your pet and I are a good fit, I do require a meet-and-greet prior to services. Please try to allow at least 24hrs notice before any first-time bookings to give us time to meet and get to know each other! Thank you!! *** Caring for pets is my full-time job, and I approach it with the same dedication as I would any other career. As someone with fur babies of my own, I understand how important it is to ensure they're well cared for. They’re part of our family! And it is my promise to love and care for your pets as if they were my own. From Asher to Zander, and all the Bellas, Tuckers, and Charlies in between! And yes, of course that includes Mrs. Mittens and Mr. Whiskers too. I have grown up caring for animals my entire life, and have cared for dogs and cats professionally at a pet spa/daycare/ boarding facility here in Madison. There's a good chance some of you have already met me! ** Services/ Experience ** - I am comfortable and experienced taking care of animals with varying degrees of medical needs, including administering medicine (oral, topical, & injection) and following strict diets at no extra charge - Experienced in administering insulin to both cats and dogs - Our pets are as unique as the people who love and care for them, and I understand that some dogs may take a little bit of time to trust, or some cats might hiss-at-first-sight. And that’s okay! Earning an animal’s trust is one of the most rewarding parts of this job. - Puppy/Kitten friendly! Honestly, Puppy/Kitten-More-Than-Friendly—I just love baby animals! I have both raised and cared for puppies as young as 7 weeks and kittens from birth. - Experienced in bathing and dog-specific bath products! *Bath charges can be discussed on a case by case bark-sis* - I have attended dog training classes focused on positive reinforcement methods which have been used to train my own dog, who is CGC certified. - Very cat & kitten friendly! - Very responsive! Lots of pictures and updates of your babies! - Smoke free

Safety, trust & environment

Having worked in a professional dog care environment, safety is and always will be my number one priority. I understand the huge amount of trust it takes to allow someone not only into your home, but to leave your pets--your family--in someone else's care. I always will honor and respect that level of trust, and do everything I can to maintain it. This includes updates, providing pictures, cleaning up/straightening up after myself and the animals, and alerting you immediately of any questions or concerns.

Information Deanna P. would like to know about your pet

It is very important to know of any medical needs, allergies, or behavioral habits that need addressed, such as: - Dietary needs/restrictions - Crate trained? - House broken? - Any brushing/grooming needs, such as cleaning ears/faces/around eyes - Aggression, anxiety, etc - Allergies - Medication

A typical day

Physical and mental stimulation are very important for all stages of life! Depending on your dog's needs and energy levels, we'll have a great time exploring the the back yard, sniffing around the neighborhood, and/or playing with all kinds of different toys. I also love training, so they might even learn a new trick!
