Pet care experience
Hi my name is Deanna, I am a veterinary technician at a local animal specialty hospital. I currently work in icu, er, oncology, and surgery. I have experience with animals not only with my own (felines, canines, to exotic birds), but I also dog sit, and drop in visits for felines of client’s referral. I can administer oral medications, to administer subcutaneous, inter muscular medications. I love my senior animals as well, and I always go at the animals speed and make sure at the end of the day not only are they safe but they are happy as well.

I take care of my clients pets but following the routine that the owner has detailed for me. For example, if the owner has mentioned that the dog can only play fetch in this section of the yard then that is what I will follow. I also had a client tell me at 6:15am the dogs have to be let out to use the restroom or else they go on the floor. And exactly for one week at 6am I woke up and made sure the two dogs relived themselves.

Just let me know if the feline or canine has special needs or medications. I will happily help out and just list out medication times and if they need a helping hand up the stairs etc.
A typical day
I encourage all dogs for walks and make sure they get the joints moving and help stimulate the brain by smelling and a daily 1-2 walks a day is good exercise. I will play fetch and for felines I love to play with them and give them loving as well.

I currently work at a veterinary hospital on Thursdays, fridays and Saturdays from 9am-6pm. However, on my break I can go to the clients house and take the dog on a walk or make sure food and water is placed down
