Pet care experience
Hello! I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone to take care of your pet. I am a dog mom myself to a 3 year old black lab mix, Archie. He loves other dogs big and small alike and loves to help me with work! If your canine needs experience with other dogs Archie is the perfect puppy for it. I'm happy to bring him to sitting and walking adventures! If you look at my photos he is the black dog with the big ears! I understand that every dog needs something different. I can adapt to be whatever your pet needs. I have experience with seniors, puppies and those that require special medical attention or special diets. I grew up with 3 large dogs and 2 cats. I also volunteered for the Great Pyrenees Rescue of NC and the Humane Society of Catawba Valley. I will provide safe and comfortable services for you and your canine or feline! You will feel confident that your pet is in good hands! Our animal's lives are so short we should make every moment count for them!

I will leave your home clean and follow your instructions. Drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays include checking on your home while you're away, bringing in mail, water plants, etc. If I'm there overnight your home will be as it was when you left and I wash bedding/towels, etc. and take out trash. You will also receive updates and photos so you know your fur kids are doing great! ***In order to finalize your reservation you must complete the booking process. A booking that says "pending" has NOT been finalized.

I need to know if there is anything that your dog doesn't like, any medications that need to be administered, their play preferences, and if he/she doesn't do well with other dogs. Also, it would be good to know if they like to chase squirrels! Archie loves it and I never let it catch me off guard when we are on walks.
A typical day
It depends on the dog. Different dogs like different things. I like to get an idea of the pups personality from the parent. Which toys he/she likes best, if they prefer walks or to stay inside. Archie can sit, sit pretty, lay down, shake, and spin. I can teach your dog to do the same! Also, Archie and I are walking to support Puppy Up's Fundraiser in the fight against canine cancer. The funds I raise are needed for critical comparative oncology research and education. We would appreciate a donation or EVEN BETTER if you could come and walk with us on September 23rd, 2023 at Daveste Vineyards from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. I take care of many dogs and love them all. Its painful to think that some of them will probably face cancer in their old age. I would love to see as many of the dogs I take care of as possible in one spot helping each other out. My routine changes frequently but I am very flexible and am excited to meet your fur kids! ***not all of my bookings are through Rover so my availability on the Rover calendar is not accurate.
