Your Pup Deserves Personal Care
Pet care experience
Does your special family member need extra attention? Do they need a little bit extra help during the day? Perhaps other animals make your little one a bit nervous? Then we have just the vacay spot! We have no resident animals of our own and both of us stay at/work from home. If your furry pal needs 24/7 attention and love we're more than able to do so! Our apartment allows for a smaller and/or older dog to walk and run around safely without much to accidentally run into. For pups that need a bit to run around we're located near a wonderful dog park. If your pup is not interested in running and playing with other dogs there are plenty of sidewalks to run and explore as well as a large open field nearby. (The dog in the picture(s) is not a resident dog.)
Reviews
We can’t even say enough wonderful things about Deanna and her husband David. They opened their home and hearts to our sweet senior pup and cared for him like he was their own. Even after we moved an hour and a half away, we still drove Jackson to stay with them when we needed a boarder. Jack has since sadly passed over the rainbow bridge, but some of his last days were spent with Deanna & David, and we’re so appreciative for all the love that they gave him. 💗 If you are looking for someone to care for your pets, you won’t find anyone better.
Hands down, Deanna was the perfect dog sitter for our French bulldog! She was extremely patient when he refused to eat his meals. She hand fed him and even made made chase around his kibbles (which was a huge success)! To be honest, we never felt more relaxed on a vacation knowing our dog was in good hands. If we lived closer, we would certainly use Deanna as our regular dog sitter.
Deanna was great with our dog, bruno! Good with communication, dependable, and cautious to take good care of Bruno during a heat wave, bruno seemed to be as comfortable in their home as he is in our own. Thanks so much!
Everyone says this but I didn’t think it would happen to our set-in-his-ways senior guy - he didn’t want to leave! Deanna and her husband were absolutely wonderful. From the moment we left Jackson with them we knew he’d be loved and well taken care of while we were gone. They really went above and beyond to read Jackson’s needs and make him comfortable. They even got him to take his daily pills, and carried him up and down the stairs since he has trouble. So glad we have an awesome overnight pet sitter so we don’t have to board our pup. We already booked them again!

The two doors to our apartment are always closed and the doors in the stairwells are also always closed and locked after everyone in the building enters and leaves. While clients are always welcomed to bring a crate if it helps the dog feel more at home, the crate will always be left open so the dog can come and go as they please. Dogs are kept off of our bed due to it's height and how it may be tough for older or smaller dogs to get down safely. If a dog does like being nearby during the night, however, I'm happy to place their bed right next to my side so they can see I'm right there for them.

Information Deanna C. would like to know about your pet
We do not discriminate based on breed, only size due to our apartment agreement. We can only watch dogs under 20lbs, I apologize for Rover's size category ranges. For walks I can walk dogs up to medium size, for safety sake. Walking will be based on a dog to dog basis. Harnesses are the preferred method if possible.
A typical day
We take dogs on walks all around the neighborhood. This can include main streets with lots of foot traffic or we can stay on back roads to lessen any stress. If the pup really desires a run we can take them over to Dexter Park. Inside we can play fetch between the living room and kitchen for extra exercise, especially on rainy days. For relaxing times they can join us on our laps or next to us on the couch. We have squeaky toys that they can play by themselves, tug-of-war with us, and enrichment toys where they have to work out how to get their treats out.

Availability
Currently I do not work outside of the home. While caring for an animal I'll also be here learning various subjects on the computer. Daily walks will be given for each day of their stay.
