Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my whole life. My grandmother was always rescuing someone. That taught me empathy and helped me realize I could change the outcome of somethings well being. Since then, I have always felt a connection, especially to dogs. Having a job where the main goal is love is amazing. I have a connection with each one. I started grooming 16 years ago. And I can't imagine not working around animals. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for 3 years and it's never felt like just a job.

I have been friends with Deanna since we were kids and can't ask for a better person to check on my dogs when I am at work she does alot with r them while she is there , she will take pics of the dogs for me , so I can see what they are up to lol if I could have anyone to have check on my dogs while I was at work it would be Deanna , cause I know I can trust her with my fur babies
Deanna is amazing at handling pets, she cares for them like they were her very own. She listens very good to what each pet parent wants and us just so caring! My dog, Scirocco, get so excited when hex gonna see her! There are very few other people that I would trust leaving my boy with since he's prone to having seizures but Deanna is definitely one of them! She is not only a great dog walker and dog sitter as she takes the time needed for each dog but she is also a great dog groomer, also taking the time needed for each dog going at their pace. Scirocco and I both love her and would be lost without her!
Deanna goes above and beyond! When she cared for my dogs, she cleaned out their bowls, brushed them and took pictures ( and sent them to me ) of them in her care!! We never had someone come to our house to care for our fur babies before and we were beyond thrilled with her care! She will treat your pet as her own!
I have employed Deanna for a few years now. She is caring, responsible and trustworthy. My precious pup sees her as a second “mom” and receives the utmost care when he is her her hands. I wouldn’t trust my boy with anyone else!

We do have a cat. She doesn't share her human very well. I prefer to sit/walk in the clients home. The dogs seem less stressed and more comfortable that way.

Most importantly I like to try and keep their routine as close to what they are used to as possible. Potty times and feeding mostly. Also, if they are good meeting new people and other dogs. Anything specific to your pet I feel is important to know.
A typical day
Walks are fun and playtime is my favorite. I like to bring extra toys so they get to see something different. They are always excited when I show up with a new toy. It's a fun way to bond and helps them get comfortable and realize they can trust me.

Availability
This is my life. I need to be around dogs every day. I have 2 teenage boys who have grown up around dogs and watching them learn how to interact and then it becoming part of their every day life is awesome. Besides activities with my boys, it's pets full time.
