I recently lost my last kitty who had been born in my living room over 19 years ago. While I’m not ready to adopt another pet, I would love to welcome animals into my home again. If I am entrusted with your fur babies, you can put your mind at ease, knowing they will be well cared for, snuggled as needed, and loved as if they were at home. I am happy to send photos of your fur babies during their stay, so you can see they are having the time of their lives. While dog walkers and pup hotels can charge upward of $35 per walk, several walks a day are included in your pup’s stay! I look forward to meeting you and your furry counterparts, and building a strong working relationship. Deanna was great. Our trip was last minute and we were able to coordinate a booking with Deanna very quickly. Initial discussions/planning was simple and sweet and Deanna was very flexible in coordinating drop off and pickup. I kind of got a sense that my dog wasn't too happy for me to pick him up only because that meant he wasn't going to be getting the first class attention and spoiling that he got used to very quickly at Deanna's. Love Deanna! She is top notch. We couldn't have asked for a better Rover sitter. Our dogs were walked daily. She groomed our husky without us asking. We each received photos and videos throught our furbabies vacation away from us. The next time we are in San Diego, we will definitely book with her again without any hesitation.

I do live in a townhouse, so I would like to restrict my sitting to small to medium breeds. And of course, it goes without saying they must be housebroken, as there is no yard, and pups will need to be able to alert me of their need to go out. Spayed/neutered a must. While male dogs may not mark at home, they almost certainly will in a new environment.
A typical day
I have a beautiful neighborhood, great for walking dogs. There is a park within walking distance, with plenty of grass. There are many dogs in the area, so dogs I accept must be able to cross paths with others while walking.
