Pet care experience
I am an expert on both canine and feline nutrition after working at PetSmart as a Pet Care Specialist for nearly a year. I have life long experience with grooming, vaccinations and providing veterinary care/first aid as well as assisting with training. Whatever you and your pets need I look forward to providing! Growing up my family bred Huskies and American Eskimos. We also owned a rescued Staffordshire Bull Terrier and barn cats, along with horses and other animals. My first rescue was an Australian Cattle Dog, followed by multiple indoor only rescue cats. Currently I share custody of a wonderful three year old Bengal and recently added a young Labrador mix service dog in training. If you live outside of Salem, please be aware that I charge a mileage fee based on your location and how many round trips I'll need to make. I'm happy to calculate this in advance so you know what to expect as Rover isn't able to automatically add the fee, I have to do it manually.

Deanna was an amazing house, dog and cat sitter. She not only cared for our home and animals, she trained our dog. ? We received updates and pictures frequently. She took our dog on adventures and treated our cat like the prince he thinks he is. Deanna allowed us feel less guilty for leaving our pets, and very secure that they were being well cared for. Deanna took such good care of our cat over the holidays! She went the extra mile, visiting him despite the ice. We got thorough updates on how he was doing, and it was clear that she spent quality time with Flerken and that he enjoyed her visits. Would definitely book again next time we're out of town!

A typical day
I love everything about animal training and find it so rewarding to see pets making progress. Learning what best motivates your pet such as play, praise or food will help your pet have as much fun as possible and also help me ensure your expectations for how your pet behaves remain intact even in your absence. I'm a big believer in positive reinforcement and redirecting a pet's attention when they are getting in to trouble.

My job as a Motorcycle Safety Instructor is seasonal so during the off season I would love nothing more than to give your pets just as much love and attention as you, as regularly and frequently as needed!
