Pet care experience
I grew up on a homestead in Alaska with a plethora of animals to take care of. This included having at least two dogs at all times, two batches of puppies, training them, and my favorite: taking them on walks through the acres that was my backyard. City life is a little different but as long as they’re getting outside and exercised, a walk is a walk. I have house sat for dogs in a large range of sizes and took them for daily walks to get their exercise; I have done house visits while owners were away and generally cared for their pets as if they were my own. I would love to meet you and your pet and create a relationship with them! This will be a long term commitment for me so there’s no need to continue finding walkers; I’m here for you!

Awesome!!! Our pup was so relaxed and calm when we returned from our 2 week vacation! Signs of a great dog sitter. Deanna also handled my anxiety and crazy requests with kindness and understanding ?. She sent me a picture a day and managed all my dog’s cares with such love and attention. We were out of the country so it was a bit more concerning for me and I really appreciated how much Deanna attended to helping us out! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Deanna was wonderful! She was so flexible as I had to change some travel plans and made my dog feel right at home! She sent me great picture updates and my dog came home happy and sleepy!
Deanna is a wonderful pet caregiver! She has watched my blue heeler, Cahya, several times over the past few years. Heelers are filled with energy, and Deanna has always ensured that my pup gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation! I have never been worried in the slightest when Cahya is with Deanna, whether for an afternoon or for several days! She gives plenty of love and snuggles to my pup, and I also trust her judgement fully in terms of if something were to go wrong. She even watched Cahya when there was an issue with Cahya’s paw, and this additional health factor didn’t sway me from putting my dog in Deanna’s care. A lovely human and dog lover wrapped into one, you can always be sure that your pet will rejoin you after their time with Deanna in excellent health and spirits. Everyone should hire Deanna to be your pet’s new best friend!!
Deanna was raised with pets in her home, both dogs and cats, and a few fish. She has spent times cuddling on the couch with a sleeping dog or running around the yard or throw balls and frisbees for the dogs to fetch. And dogs like her: her husband’s family dog greets her before he ‘says’ hello to her husband. She has also had a couple stints house sitting that included taking care of dogs. I would definitely leave my pets in Deanna’s care if I needed a walker or sitter.
