Your pup will feel right at home!

Pet care experience

Hello! I have over 5 years of dog watching experience. I love dogs of all sizes, and I don't mind teaching puppies new tricks and commands. I have experience with both small and large breeds, and I don't discriminate as far as breeds or genders. I love all dogs! DOGGY DAYCARE: Your dog(s) will feel right at home in my spacious house! I have two large living rooms with a sliding glass door that connects to the backyard. The main living spaces (bedrooms, bathrooms) are typically gated off. Your dogs are free to roam around and play along with my own dog, Rocky! Rocky is very friendly and he is trained in proper greeting behavior when other dogs and people come to the house, so no need to worry about any territorial/behavioral issues with him. I will always ask for a meet and greet before-hand to ensure that you are comfortable with leaving your pets in my care. During doggy daycare in my home, I like to take all the dogs in my care on at least 3 walks throughout the day (one in the morning, afternoon, and evening if your dog is staying all day). If you are more comfortable bringing a small bag of dog food for your dog while he/she is in daycare, that is fine, but if not I am more than willing to share Rocky's food with him/her. Treats will be given throughout the day as well! If you have any special requests for your pet in my care, please feel free to let me know. Also, if your pet has any behavioral things I should know about (i.e. chewing shoes, biting, aggression) please let me know so that I can accommodate them better while at my home. Typically, for all day care you would drop off your dog(s) in the morning at the earliest around 8am, and pick-up between 5pm and 7pm. If something arises and you cannot make it before 7pm, I am more than happy to make accommodations for them and extend their daycare stay up until 10pm, however I will charge an extra fee of $5, and an additional $1 for an additional pet for each extended stay. Please let me know beforehand. HOUSE SITTING: House sitting is another service I offer, as I know that it is very important for us dog owners to know that our fur-babies are in good hands and well taken care of while we are out of the house for extended periods. I am comfortable staying overnight as well as only staying for the most part of the day, completely up to you. For house-sitting, ideally I would be able to start the first day of service no earlier than 8am. Since this is a per-night charge, if you request house-sitting past 7pm on the last day of service, I will charge a flat $10 extra charge (flat fee, does not matter the number of dogs in the home). Please let me know what time you expect to be back to your house before we confirm and book. As always, I would like to meet beforehand to meet your dog(s) and go over specifics regarding feeding schedules, walking schedules, etc. so that your animals are most comfortable while you are away. DROP-IN VISITS: I am able to make 30 minute drop in visits throughout the day to feed and/or walk your dog(s). If you are local to me, I typically like to bring my dog Rocky on walks to get him socialized with different types of dogs. I will always arrange a meet and greet before hand so that you and your dog(s) will be comfortable with me stopping by your home during the day. I am also able to administer oral medication during my visit, please let me know all accommodations you will need for your animals when booking. DOG-SITTING: Dog-sitting overnight in my home will be arranged on a case-by-case basis since I prefer to have dogs spend the night in my home when they are repeat clients (i.e. I have already house-sat/done drop-in visit(s)/done doggy daycare with them previously). I prefer crate-trained/house-trained dogs but am willing to make accommodations! My dog is crate-trained and will be sleeping in his kennel at night. If your dog is crate trained as well, please provide a kennel for him/her since I only have one in my home :) I open the downstairs room for any dogs in my care to sleep on the beds, couches, or wherever they find most comfortable. I will typically wake up bright and early to take the dogs out, give breakfast/morning snacks, and have a nice morning walk to start the day. If your pup need any accommodations, as always, let me know beforehand when booking. PUPPY POLICY: I love puppies! I have raised many puppies on my own in the past, and I love to teach puppies new tricks and socialize them to different things during their young years to better prepare them for adulthood. I can accommodate puppies of all ages and sizes, as long as they have their first round of shots (with proof of vaccination). If you are not comfortable with your puppy to stay with other dogs, please let me know and I will try to free up my schedule to ensure that they are the only dog in my care (besides my own dog). ABOUT MY DOG: I have a 9 month old working line male German Shepherd named Rocky. Rocky is around 80 pounds and is still growing. Since we adopted him when he was 8 weeks old, we have taken him to a countless number of socialization events, so he is comfortable with most types of dogs. He especially loves small breed dogs, but he does get a little timid around larger breeds when first meeting (eventually he warms up to them). He is an indoor dog and is crate-trained and house-trained, and should not make any accidents inside as long as he goes out at least once every 4-5 hours. He is a graduate of behavioral training, and shows no signs of aggression towards other dogs or humans. He may bark when meeting new people or dogs, but only out of excitement (I am working to break him out of this habit). Rocky is up to date on all his puppy shots, including rabies. He is a big lover and enjoys napping, belly rubs, going to the dog park, practicing tricks, and going on runs and hiking. If you request doggy daycare during the day, I will always like to arrange a meet-and-greet so your dog(s) can meet Rocky in a controlled environment so that they can get accustomed to each other. Please send me a message if you have any questions regarding any services/fees I offer. I am flexible and willing to accommodate for different needs, feel free to ask! Have a great day! :)

Deanna is awesome with all my dogs! Every time my dogs hear her come to the door they get so excited. I've trusted her walking my large breed dogs and house sitting for years now, she is the only one I would trust with my dogs' lives! Also, she has a very well trained and good dog who gets along extremely well with all my dogs. We go on dog park visits and they have a blast! I highly recommend her to anyone, you will not be disappointed.
