Pet care experience
I've loved dogs my entire life, and have a vast range of experience with them. I have a pit bull mixed breed dog named Kelso, who I trained from a puppy and now give medication in his golden years. In the past I have volunteered at both an animal shelter and an animal sanctuary where I assisted with the care of many senior and special needs dogs, including those in doggy wheelchairs.

We loved having Deanna stay with our 2 doodles while we were on vacation. She was very attentive and responsive. Our pups loved her!!! We will definitely be rebooking again!
Deanna thank you so much! I am just realizing now that you left this message. I’m sorry he gets over-wild and then those things happen. When you’re here watching him you can give him trazodone 2x/day. That helps with him getting overly excited. Deanna did such a wonderful job with our dog! She was very communicative and reliable - sent an update with photos every day. Mobley had a great time playing and snuggling. Definitely going to book again soon!
Deanna was great with Paisley when we were away. We received at least one check in a day and saw that they even went on walks!

I am unable to board dogs in my own home at this time, but I hope to when I move in the future. All dogs I have ever worked with have been well loved, and I have assisted with training a variety of dogs. If I am visiting your home to care for your pet I can also water plants and feed other pets.

A typical day
My dog walking idealogy is to let them "read the newspaper!" While we can just check the news on our phones, dogs rely on sniffing, smelling, and exploring their surroundings on walks to get their local news update - only caveat- just don't try to eat the news! I am experienced with dogs who try to eat everything on walks though. Depending on the dog's needs and temperment, I like to take them to different parks for walks or hikes. I prefer not to take dogs to dog parks for safety reasons.

I am currently working at an elementary school, so I am available most weekday evenings and weekends. Especially for weekdays, please book in advance when possible.
