Energetic doggie care! Full Time!
Pet care experience
I'm a young professional who has lived in Boston for ten years. I love taking care of dogs with my dog-sitting and dog-walking business full-time!! I have experience walking and caring for dogs with special needs: diets, meds, hip, skin, and other issues! I have cared for small and large pups from "Teacup" Schnoodles to an English Mastiff! Since each pup is the different, I make every effort to adjust to what they are used to at home. I am gentle but able to set boundaries when necessary. I will love your dog just like my 2 pups, Nola (7) and Memphis (4). Have you ever said hi to a dog and forgot to say "hi" to their human? Me too! Dog people - we get each other. :)
Reviews
Deanna is my go-to on Rover! Aki had another wonderful holiday with her.
Aki had an upset stomach one day and Deanna knew exactly what to do. The next day Aki was back at 100%. I'm so comfortable leaving Aki in her hands!
Deanna was so professional and caring at the same time, it was very clear to us that she knew how to handle dogs, even multiple at the same time, so we felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her. She gave us frequent updates during our dog's stay and had helpful feedback, too. It was so nice to know that she took our dog to off-leash dog parks where our dog could run around and get rid of all her excess energy. We picked up a happy and well-balanced dog and would leave her with Deanna again anytime.
Another great vacation for Aki with Deanna!

Information Deanna A. would like to know about your pet
I love all dog breeds including the "scary" ones like Pit Bulls and Rottweilers. Before meeting your dog, please let me know any restrictions (dietary, physical, emotional). Any triggers such as other animals, certain types of dogs, people wearing hats, skateboards, loud noises, etc. Please let me know any commands, and how you correct your dog (for example if they bark too much, growl at someone, or other poor doggy behavior) -- I want to treat them the way they are trained at home! Dogs who stay in my home are must not have the habit of barking excessively and should get along with other dogs.
A typical day
No slow or lazy walks here! Brisk walks or jogs help make the most of their time outdoors. I like to take dogs on walks through different streets because they always get excited by the new smells. Each walk should be an adventure, not just the same old routine! And if there is an open grassy field or park nearby, I love running around with them even on the leash. The goal is to get them exercise and have fun. Off-leash play is also an option if you are comfortable with that. And I can take the pups for hikes or playing at the beach! I have to admit that I will talk to your dog and praise them for being a good dog pretty much the entire visit. By the time I'm done telling them what a good doggo they are, they'll have a bigger ego than Mariah Carey in her prime.
