Very Energetic Dog Lover - Home FT
Pet care experience
I have had animals my entire life. I love them! My favourite thing to do is spend time with dogs at the dog park, at home or on a walk. I have two high energy medium dogs who love to play with everyone. My dream is to spend the day playing with and training dogs! I really enjoy high energy medium and larger dogs who need extra love and playtime. I am a high energy person who can spend hours entertaining dogs. I enjoy going to off leash parks and running with the animals. I would of course start on leash or in one of the many enclosed parks in Calgary but would work towards a relationship where your dog could enjoy any park in the city with me! Not a fan of dog parks? I'll take a trail walk or run with your dog alone or with my dogs too! I am up for any adventure! Have a cat? I have a perfect safe space cat room with a front window looking into a tree full of birds and squirrels.

Information Dean P. would like to know about your pet
For boarding and daycare: I have a senior house cat. He can spend time in his perfect cat room, but ideally, I hope to find dogs who will be happy to coexist with him. He doesn't care about new dogs as long as they leave him alone and give him space. What does your dog or cat eat? Kibble, Mixed, Raw Only? I am happy to prepare any kind of food for my guests. My dogs are fed a raw food diet and my cat is on a veterinary diet. I am a Red Seal Chef and can continue to pamper your pet at mealtime! Does your dog have any triggers? Will they run after a truck, a bike or another dog? These things help me provide better support for my guests and allows me to be more prepared when on a walk, at a dog park or enjoying the front yard with your dog. How is their recall? I love to take dogs to the dog park but they must have recall. Dog Park adventures are discussed and must be approved by both you and me before the stay. Even if recall is in process or solely food motivated. If they don't yet have recall, I will work to reinforce any training exercises currently in practice. Do they jump fences? My yard is a front yard with a chain-link fence. I accompany all guests outside but if they see something outside of the fence I like to know if there is a chance they are going to try to jump or scale it. Knowing beforehand allows me to properly adjust to the situation. If they are a known fence jumper, they will be accompanied outside on leash until they approved to be off-leash in the yard. How are they on-leash? What is their normal schedule at home? Do they have any quirks I need to know about? Are they food motivated?
