Pet care experience
I have been volunteering at the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA for more than six years. I take care, love, walk and play with all the dogs in the shelter. My efforts to help shelter pets and care for them have even gone above caring for them. During my Rite of Passage Experience for Students (ROPES) project in 2017, I raised $1,100 for the SPCA. As part of my junior-year Social Justice capstone project, I also spoke at a middle schools’ career-readiness class about the social and personal benefits of working with shelter animals. Along with professional experience, I have had a dog, named Cupcake, since I was five years old and she is my best friend and is now fourteen!!

Not only was Dayna available on short notice, she went above and beyond to care for my pup! She followed my instructions and made sure she left my dog cared for and happy. Highly recommend her to care for your for babies!
Dayna was an incredible and responsible sitter for our fragile but sweet 16 year old chihuahua. She was very quick to confirm a booking and communicate. She was very thorough in understanding Princess’ needs, and spent time giving her love and cuddles beyond just feeding and potty. We felt completely comfortable with her in our house alone, and with Princess, and will book her again when needed!

Availability
I am now a freshman at Chapman University and have a lot of breaks in between classes. Most of my classes are in the morning or late afternoon so I have multiple long breaks making time for me to help you and your pets out! I have a car so I am able to commute to and from where you need me to be. I honestly really miss my dog and want to find a job where I can play, entertain and walk other peoples dogs!
