Dogs are my spirit animal! Throughout my entire life, I always had a dog as a pet or sometimes two. German Shepherds, Shih Tzus, Rottweilers, and Pitbulls were/are loved and taken care of in my personal life. I also am exposed to multiple breeds of dogs throughout my large family. This includes Poodles, Cane Corsos, German Shorthairs, Golden Retrievers, Labs, and Yorkis. Currently, when I refer to "my dogs" I am speaking of a 10 year old Rottie female and a 1 year old Husky/Shepherd female. They are our family's dogs and they reside at my mother's home but I do see them throughout the week. I currently do not have a dog at my residence. I have debated adopting a dog full time. I truly miss having the companionship of a dog in my household. This brings me to Rover. I can experience the companionship while also helping fellow dog lovers.
