Pet care experience
Hey is for horses! My name is Dayna, I'm 28, and I would love to take care of your pet(s)! I have 20 years experience caring, nurturing and befriending household pets varying from dogs, cats, pet rats, guinea pigs, bunny rabbits, fish, and the friendly chipmunks in the neighbourhood! I am no stranger to animals! I consider myself a very active person. I enjoy spending hours walking around in the fresh air, especially with the mountain view! I have one super energetic pup, so I understand the importance of daily exercise and enrichment! Along with having great patience, the care I can provide for your furry family member will be the same as if it were my own. Whether it's cuddles, belly rubs, park walks, swimming, giving medication, baths, furry friend catch up- I'm keen for it all!

My pup definitely is the princess of the home. She is extremely well trained- will leave food if I drop it in-front of her, will wait for a key word to cross the road or have a bite to eat from her bowl, she absolutely loves her crate and goes in and out at her own free will! These are all things that work well for her and I, and I’m sure you have certain ways you’d like things done as well which I’m more than capable and willing to abide by!

I’d love to know if your dog(s) have any special handling requirements, need medication administrated or are reactive to certain people and things. I’d love to know their routine, the do’s and dont’s for example, being picked up. Quite a few dogs don’t like to be lifted and that’s important to know to make them feel comfortable in my care!
A typical day
Daily stimulation is important for dogs of all ages! Tug of war, puzzles and kongs are a great way to keep them busy and their minds active! I love going to the park, where they can run, sniff and play. I love to attach my pup to a 10ft leash where she has the freedom to explore but is still connected to me incase of wildlife or reactive pups!

Availability
I work full time Monday-Friday during the day at a dermatology clinic in Canmore! My weekends are usually super quiet as I live a low key life. I often spend them exploring trails with Tokyo, cooking, catching up on my favourite tv shows, or FaceTiming my family and friends in Ontario where I'm from! I have a roommate- he’s a male also from Ontario. He’s usually not home on weekends, but he absolutely loves dogs!
