FULL TIME PET FRIEND FOR YOUR DOG🐾

Pet care experience

For as long as I can remember my life has always involved dogs. I grew up with four dogs in the household, a Rottweiler , a pitbull, Chihuahua, and a Chihuahua mix. Beauty, Daddy, Baby, and Beast. I would always play with him, feed them, train them, and be their best friend. I am always the person that my friends and family ask to babysit and walk their dogs! I have always worked with dogs and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Day is great! Her calm demeanor and patience helps my pup feel less anxious.

My experience with Day was disappointing and upsetting. Day watched my dogs for seven days at my home. During that time communication was minimal: I didn’t get a message every day, I was only updated about one dog unless I asked about the other, and I had no idea how my dogs were acting that warranted them being locked up in our bedroom, which is what happened with Day. When flying home, Day told me that one of the dogs had a lot of diarrhea the night before, but provided no further details. I asked her more questions and it took a while to get a response. Upon entering our home, we were hit by the smell of urine and our carpeted floor was wet with blue dawn dish soap poured on the stains. I found poorly cleaned diarrhea in the basement, a place my dogs do not normally go or have access. I asked Day about this and she said she cleaned the accidents, and denied the diarrhea in the basement existed. She blamed the urine on one of my dogs marking (which he has never done inside, and has not done since we returned). In addition to this mess, there were scratch marks on our doors. We found out from our neighbor that the dogs had been barking into the early hours of the morning and when she confronted Day she found one of the dogs locked in our bedroom. Day never mentioned this negative interaction with our neighbor and when asked only revealed that the dogs had been fighting so she separated them. We found scratch marks on three doors and believe our dogs had been locked in rooms and left for long periods of time. I asked Day for a refund and she refused. She didn’t even apologize. I would not trust Day to take care of my dogs again.

Day did an awesome job. My dog had surgery the day before she started (not planned when I originally booked) and Day took everything in stride. She had to give medicines at least twice a day. My pets were in good hands and I can't thank Day enough.
