Pet care experience
I have had many different kinds of pets, including cats, dogs, snakes, fish, and dwarf hamsters. Currently I have one dog and one cat - both are sweet and friendly. I also regularly pet sit for friends' cats, dogs, and lizards. I am good at reading and communicating with animals, and I'm comfortable using positive reinforcement to support any training you're currently doing with your pet.

They took such great care of my Enzo! A meet and greet was set up before hand which was a great idea and peace of mind for me. Dax was great with communicating and kept me in the loop. They are very educated on dogs body language, limits and boundaries. I am so thankful for them and hope to use them in the future!!
Dax took great care of my Bear for a week. When I returned, he looked relaxed and happy and like he'd had a lot of play time. Dax was also great at sending photos and communication.

Your pet can expect lots of snuggles, playtime, enrichment activities, and relaxation whether at your house or mine! I love getting to know different pets' personalities, preferences, and interests and making sure they feel as safe, respected, loved, and entertained as possible. My partner and I have a large fenced in yard and a friendly, well-trained 3-year-old dog who loves company. We also have a sweet 4-year-old cat who ignores dogs, but for everyone's comfort stays behind a baby gate/closed door while your pet is visiting.

Please let me know about any allergies, health issues, or behavioral challenges ahead of time, so I can adjust the environment and activities to suit your pet’s needs. I’d also love to know a little about their likes and dislikes, and any commands or communication patterns you think would be helpful for me to know (for instance, how do they usually ask to go potty?). Your pet’s comfort and happiness is my priority, so please also feel free to let me know about any special requests or needs, and I’ll do my best to make them happen!
A typical day
I follow your schedule for feeding, medicine, etc. I'm happy to provide treats and a daily frozen treat or soft chew (this is optional of course - please let me know if they have any allergies). Other than that, what we do is up to your pet’s preferences, but playtime with my dog, outdoor adventures, enrichment games like hide and seek, and snuggles on the couch are some typical activities!

Availability
I'm available weekday evenings and any time on weekends, and this time can fully revolve around your pet, whether that’s drop-ins or walks at your house, playing together in my large fenced in yard with my dog, or snuggling up together in front of the TV for a cozy overnight stay. I work full time, but I can offer longer term boarding for dogs as long as your dog is comfortable staying home alone with my dog while I’m at work. For drop ins, I’m happy to care for cats and dogs, as well as other small pets (I have experience with snakes, lizards, and hamsters).
