Pet care experience
I love dogs! I have grown up around dogs of all kinds. I have owned big dogs and small dogs. My family and I have raised my Pittie mix and lhasa Apso from when they were puppies. I volunteered at shelters and fostered dogs and cats in the past. My best friend is a dog trainer. Proper dog care and training is a top priority for me. I invest time to understand dogs as individuals and observe behaviors to help them feel comfortable. **My husband Thai and I care for our client's dogs together, because I will soon be on maternity leave, I will no be able to accept any clients for a few months. (Feb- June 2024) But we want to continue servicing the pets in our community. If you would like us to dog sit, or walk your dog please send your booking request using my husband's Rover account.** https://www.rover.com/sit/thaih07156
Reviews
Dawn and her husband were awesome caretakers of our 9 month old puppy. They kept us updated on a daily basis with pictures and videos and he came home looking happy and healthy.
Dawn was a great sitter for our 10 month old puppy! She was punctual, communicative, and shared photos every day of Honey playing with the new friends she made during her 10-day stay. I highly recommend Dawn for your dog sitting needs!
Dawn and her husband were amazing. Great communicators, very accommodating, always came on time with no issues. Our dog Bernie loved them, he was always so excited when they would come to pick him up for his daily walks. I would highly recommend them to anyone that loves their pet.
Dawn is great! She is so reliable, trustworthy, and kind! This is the third time I’ve left my dog with her and each time has been perfect!

I have a very large, tall, fenced yard, one large well mannered dog, and a year old baby. But if your dog needs to be separated, I have a separate floor for them. I also have crates available, if your dog needs to be crated. If your dog has separation anxiety, they will be okay with me because someone is always home.

Information Dawn Z. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs. My dog is a well mannered 7 year old pup that also loves fur friends. We can do a meet and greet before any boarding set up, but if they don't get along, not to worry. Your dog can stay on a separate floor. There are no restrictions in yard usage. It is especially important to us for prospective clients to be open and honest with us so we can be prepared for any situation that could arise. Some Questions I will have about your dog(s): - Would you like to schedule a meet and greet? - What is your preferred method of communication? - Does your dog have any health issues? For example: allergies, medication, behavior triggers, dietary restrictions. - Is your dog house trained? - Does your dog have separation anxiety? - Is your dog sprayed/neutered? - Is your dog crate trained? - Does your dog need to stick to a given schedule? - How does your dog do around other dogs? - How does your dog do around children? - Is your dog on fleas and ticks medication?
A typical day
If your dog stays with me, he or she will be walked multiple times a day and let out into my large yard for some fresh air throughout the day too. One time a day, and twice on weekends, your dog will be taken out for an hour or more of exercise. Around my area, there is a dog friendly beach and park. I love to take the dogs to new places so sometimes we will take a drive to different parks so they can experience different smells. I never want my dog to be bored of the same routes and places, so your dog won't be either. Someone is always home, so don't worry about separation anxiety.

Availability
I am currently working in a school building, and have availability, during the weekends, holidays and summers. I believe that dogs need more than just a quick walk, but mental and physical exercise too.
